Privacy Policy

Our Commitment to Your Privacy
The Telepathy Center is committed to protecting your privacy while providing consciousness research, training tools, and membership programs. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your information.
Key point: Where you can use our tools or read our content anonymously, we keep it that way. Where you give us information directly — to join a waitlist, become a member, or contact us — we collect only what's needed to deliver that service and tell you exactly who else processes it.
What We Collect
Anonymous training-tool data (when training tools are publicly available — currently in development):
- Anonymous session identifier (stored locally on your device)
- Training-session data (trials, responses, timestamps)
- Local Sidereal Time at session start (for research correlation)
- Basic device information (screen size, timezone, browser type)
Membership and payment data (when you join the Founding Circle):
- Payment processing and card details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or transmit your full card number.
- We receive your name, email address, and confirmation of payment from Stripe in order to deliver membership benefits.
Waitlist and newsletter data (when you join a waitlist or sign up for updates):
- Your email address (and name, if you provide it) is collected and stored by Kit.com (operated by Sender Co.), our email-marketing provider.
- We use it to send you updates about retreats, Founding Circle openings, and research progress. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Contact-form data (when you submit our collaboration form):
- Name, email, organization, and your message.
- Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms and protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile.
- We use this only to respond to your inquiry.
Server logs and security data:
- Standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) are kept for limited periods for security, anti-abuse, and operational purposes.
- We do not use these for advertising, profiling, or third-party sharing.
What We Do Not Collect
- Names or real identities for anonymous tool use
- Precise location data (only timezone, where collected)
- Social-media profile information
- Browsing history outside of our site
- Data from third-party advertising or tracking networks (we use none)
How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes only:
- Service delivery: displaying your progress, fulfilling membership, responding to your messages, sending the updates you opted into.
- Research: aggregate, anonymized analysis of training-session data. Individual sessions are not traced back to specific users in any published research.
- Improvement: understanding which protocols and tools work best.
- Security: detecting abuse, preventing fraud, and protecting the integrity of our research data.
Third-Party Services
We share data only with the service providers listed below, and only for the purposes described. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
- Stripe — payment processing for Founding Circle and any future paid offerings. Stripe handles card data; we do not.
- Kit.com (Sender Co.) — waitlist and newsletter email delivery.
- Netlify — site hosting and contact-form submissions.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-bot protection on forms.
- Supabase — database and authentication backend for training tools (when available).
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.
Data Storage
Your data is stored in two places:
- Locally in your browser: for anonymous tool data, your session history is kept on your device so you can access it without an account.
- Our backend (Supabase) and our service providers: for membership data, contact-form submissions, and (when available) cloud-synced training sessions.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Export your data in a portable format (JSON or CSV for training-tool data once available).
- Delete your data, including your local browser storage at any time and your cloud-synced data on request.
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time (unsubscribe link in every email).
- Object to processing or request restriction.
- Lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority if you are in a jurisdiction with one.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at luke@thetelepathycenter.com or through our collaboration form.
Cookies and Tracking
We use minimal local storage and cookies for site functionality only. We do not use:
- Third-party tracking cookies
- Advertising networks
- Analytics services that profile individuals
- Social-media tracking pixels
Cloudflare Turnstile may set short-lived cookies on form pages purely for anti-bot challenge verification.
Research Use
The Telepathy Center conducts consciousness research using anonymized, aggregate data. Any published research will:
- Never identify individual users
- Use only statistical summaries across many sessions
- Focus on patterns across the user population, not individuals
International Transfers
Our service providers (Stripe, Kit.com, Netlify, Cloudflare, Supabase) operate internationally and may process data in jurisdictions outside your own. Each maintains its own safeguards and compliance frameworks. By using our site or services you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in these jurisdictions.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be noted on our website with the "Last updated" date refreshed. Continued use of our tools and services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
