About Zener Card Testing

Zener cards were developed in the 1930s by Karl Zener for J.B. Rhine's ESP experiments at Duke University. The deck uses 5 symbols: circle, plus, waves, square, and star.

Statistical Basis

With 5 symbols, chance is 20%. Z-scores above 1.96 (p < 0.05) are statistically significant.

Blockchain Verification (Coming Soon)

Multi-chain blockchain timestamping is being integrated to create tamper-proof records. Session configurations will be timestamped at start, and results on completion - providing cryptographic proof that data was not manipulated.

Open Science (Coming Soon)

Sessions with significant results (Z > 2.0) will be automatically published to ResearchHub with a DOI for academic citation. All data will be anonymized but publicly verifiable.
